Not long ago, Qinghai Salt Lake Industry Co., Ltd. and SGL Group cooperated in the deep desorption system of hydrochloric acid project. According to the agreement, SGL will deliver all equipment and systems to Qinghai Salt Lake Industrial Co., Ltd. before the end of 2013 for the recycling of waste acid liquid generated by the Qinghai Salt Lake Magnesium and Chemical Integration Project.
The environmental protection project is expensive, with a total cost of more than 20 million euros. In response to the project's benefits, the reporter recently interviewed Mr. Frank Wittchen, Chairman of SGL Group's Process Technology Business Unit, and Yu Guoli, General Manager of the Metal Magnesium Project of Qinghai Salt Lake Industrial Co., Ltd.
According to Yu Guoli, the total investment scale of Qinghai Salt Lake Magnesium and Magnesium Integration Project is about 60 billion yuan; the planned annual production capacity is 400,000 tons of metal magnesium, supporting 2 million tons of PVC, 2.4 million tons of coke and 2 million tons of soda ash. The initial construction of 100,000 tons of metal magnesium and corresponding supporting projects has entered the construction climax.
